Can I Re Fire a cast box??

I made a couple of boxes awhile ago. After they were fired, the lids seemed a little loose. (I used fine and powdered Bullseye Glass frit.)
I have layered 1/8th inch fiber paper in the mold and would like to re fire the box and lid, in hopes of a better fitting lid.

The question I have is...,
Since the box has been fully fused and annealed how slow should I ramp up to the full fuse temperature. (basically Re-fusing both pieces)
The sides of the box are about 2.5 inches deep.
This is a link to a picture of the box.

Any input is welcome.
