I am so satisfied that at the end it worked for me...........
This piece was fired twice in vain, the upper part [which was covered with fiber blanket] did not get enough heat and simpley broke.
I decided to fire it without the blanket, the way i learnt, and it came out quite nice.
Only there was a lot of devit on the edges. So used diluted spray A, used for the forming the schedule which is used by Moje, and rises as high as 750 Celsius.
The piece is formed, clean, no devit, and no signs of the explosion [ I have photos of this]
It is not EXACTLY what I was aiming to, but it is not a big compromise on my side. You can read about my dilemmas at the other forum which deals with firing etc.
