Please need some help from people who have doing fused glass for a while...I have a room 8'x10' I'm looking to find the best way to set it up for glass fusing. I dont have alot of equipment now just a sm. kiln & grinder but hoping to expand on this. A fair amount of glass, frits, powders and molds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Pat

Best way I've found to store frit is on the wall, in shallow shelves only one or two jars deep (preferably one). 1x4s are just about perfect for the purpose. I built or bought clear acrylic bins to hold the glass--they're sturdy and I can see through them so I don't get any nasty surprises when reaching inside.

Be open to the possibility that the place where you work on glass art may not have to be where you store glass and supplies. I keep my glass remote from my work tables. Bringing a sheet of glass to the table is not something I do multiple times in a short interval, so if I have to walk fifteen steps to get a new piece of glass, its not a significant time waste.
