Ditto on "more schooling"

I am a beginner,also. Live in a very small area and would love more schooling. Any one on this board know of some classes in fusing here in Virginia? would be willing to drive a few hours for a weekend session-I have been "playing with my new kiln, and reading eveything I can get my hands on, but, I need "hands-on" thanks Gayle-bkrgrl@aol

Dang stuart! 11 minutes between her post and yours! Do you have a butler that flashes a special red light in the "stuart cave" whenever someone from virginia posts? Then you hop into your stu-suit and supertype your reply!?!?

No Jerry it only happens on a regular basis because you and I are the only ones up at 3:00 am on a regular basis. That is why I usually get the messages right after you.

FYI to bkrgrl
If I would have just read a little more in the tutorial
section, my drop through project and ring would not
be in multiple pieces. The FYI is you can,t have 3/4"
glass hanging out over the outter edge of your drop ring.
I thought (which is dangerous) the glass would slowly
drag inward as it slumped, it slumped perfectly over both
sides or the ring, a no no I read later. I must have some
Missouri in my Texas blood (cause you got to show me).
More schooling will be good!!!!!!!!!!
