First cast piece

Took a class from one of the guys at my guild in Salt Lake, and did my first cast piece. I had been thinking about the design (we were told we had an 8x14" piece of clay to work with), and this design came to me in my sleep 
. I'm quite happy with it -- got a lot to learn but I think it is a good start. If nothing else, I'm excited the rocks look like rocks . Sorry for the crummy pic -- 9 PM on the kitchen table isn't the best lighting.
Now... for more. I have some clay, plaster, and silica sitting in the studio (but may be there a while... I have a few markets coming up soon and the day job takes up too much time!).
