Attaching glass to stainless steel

I am wanting to attach fused glass tiles to stainless steel or aluminum after using a dremel tool on the metal. Any suggestions on what to use. Also, thinking about trying to put something behind the glass to add some depth. Also, looking for suggestions on what to put on the back so it can be hung.

Thanks.
Deb

And be sure to use a fresh tube.

The depth thing comes when the glass is not in contact with the metal. So put the silicone around the perimeter making sure the glass does not touch the metal. Light will go through and bounce back.

Another good adhesive is VHB tape. VHB stands for very high bond. Letting it sit for up to 3 days will help develop strength.

I am thinking of using plexiglass to attach fused glass to Aluminum. For the back, looking at different stand off systems. Any suggestions on what type might be good?
