Fusing Frit on top of glass circles

First time using frit. I fused three colored flowers ( each a different color) of frit onto a 2 layer 6" circle white on the top, purple on the bottom (both opalescent). The flowers are circular in shape with none of the petals touching each other - 1 1/2" - 2" in dark green opal powder frit, 1" flowers each in lipstick red opal and marigold opal, all coe 96. The larger green flower left indentations in the glass. The frit layer was about 1/16" of an inch for all of the flowers. Is this normal because the density of the green being different to the other colors? Trying to understand how the different colors affect the glass. Any input would be most welcome.
