Curious if anybody knows of a glue that adheres glass to metal that they think is terrific. I've been using a few glues that are pretty good, but looking for one that is unbelievably good.

Thanks,
Drew Kates

I find that you can not beat Loctite products. their catalog even lists all materials and shows you what glue for what . I use Loctite hysol h30cl. It works great, dries crystal clear and holds a lot of weight.

I see all responses as great thus far, yet form follows function for me, so never rely on chemical bonds- unless it's absolutely necessary i.e. lamination for IBC + below 18". so I drill holes, run cables, and often sweat solder into copper and brass.
That said I have experimented with all listed and many others- and would choose based the variables of expansion/contraction/moisture intrusion- and most importantly UV stability i.e. will sunlight ever hit this bond.
If yes- use 100% silicone, and with what ever you choose add undercuts to both surfaces as to also make the bond physical. and not just witchcraft...
+ I also love Hextall, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6Ysd04b05Y
for glass to glass, but as I don't know what your gluing, I can't say that's a good choice...
sorry for the ramble...
