How to adhere stand up project to a glass base

What is the best method and glue to adhere a stand up glass project to a glass base?

Depends upon the shape of the glass you are gluing to the base. If it has some means of support in its inherent design, you could use something as simple as E6000. I recently wrote a blog post on a candle shield, that might be helpful:

If the glass piece can't support itself very well against gravity I would use something like HXTAL.
