Pot melt for Patten bar slices
Posted: Fri Jan 06, 2017 3:47 pm
I just got done doing a pot melt.
I had a 8 inch sq lined with fiber paper and a sheet of clear on the bottom.
The pot was good it is 3/4" thick nice movement.
I went and clean the edges of with the tile saw.
This is when i realize the clear is much thicker on the border area I guess
is that the drip pushed the clear out a bit,
When i slice it I will clear on the edge and when i bookmark it it will not look
like I want.
I am trying to figure a way around this.
I am not sure if I should reload bottom side up and drip back on to it or to put scrap pieces
on the bottom side up and comb it.
I have not played with glass for a few years and it lessons learn time.

Bottom Thanks for any idea how to work around this.
