Getting ready to blow out Color Bar in HOT shop

Hello . I have not posted in awhile and have missed you all so thought I would catch up on what I have been up to. Casting large color bars and then slicing them up to take to the hot shop. Just simply exciting and has allowed me to do things that I could not do before. Working in Bullseye Glass does not stop me from going to the hot shop and Ryan Bavin is truly an inspiration and just knows how to make my ideas and bars into round forms that is a bit more difficult for us all.

I have really enjoyed getting back into the hot shop and Ryan Bavin just understands so well how the Bullseye Glass Blows out in large chunks and sections and how to maximize the interesting things going on inside. The important part is to remember what will actually be inside when blown out and what is on the outside when all is said and done

WOW - really gorgeous.
I would really dig manipulating glass like that, after some intense instruction. Too cool.

Thank you Ed, I love taking the Bullseye Glass to the hot shop and manipulating it. The large cast glass bars are the best to begin with for me for a more organic look.

Hi Sharol, It is great to share again with everyone. I tooo have missed posting in Warm Glass.
My twin and I are having fun pulling out the slices on the torch as well. It is just so fun to take this beautiful material and manipulate it hot.
