I remember somewhere I saw a side view cutaway of a pot melt showing the interior of the pot how the glass flows out of the pot.
Does anyone know where it might be?

I just came across your request for a photo of a cutaway of a pot melt. This is not a pot melt, it's the end of a murrine pot from a vitrigraph kiln but it's the same principle.
