Tried tack fusing with Olympic kiln. Did not contour much. Is that a temp problem or hold problem. Did 1000 to 1340 and then full. Am just getting back into fusing.

Three options.

1. Go slower from 1100 to your top temperature.
2. Hold longer at the top temperature.
3. Increase the top temperature.

Any of the three will work. Just keep notes on what you try.

Tack fuse temperature usually anywhere from 1350 to 1450, with a five to ten minute hold, depending on the look you want.

1000 to 1340??? very aggressive ramp up is asking trouble (thermal shock) your going to get a lot of breakage at that rate.. I suggest a much more relaxed ramp up(250 or 300).. "Speed Kills"
