Help with freeze and fuse

I am a glass fusing instructor and I have a student who is trying to make game pieces using the Freeze and Fuse technique. He has made his own silicon mold and the pieces are made from powder frit that he ordered from the local glass supply store. The pieces are roughly 1 inch wide and about 2.5 inches tall. The problem that we are having is that the pieces are falling over when fired.
This is the schedule that I used the first time
1 200 400 .30
2 400 1320 .35 (for the second fire I adjusted this to .25 with no success)
3 9999 960 .60
4 200 700 .0
5 500 200 .0
How can I keep the pieces from falling over? Are they too tall to accomplish a successful freeze and fuse.
Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks
