Based on a bad incident, I will succumb and wear gloves in the studio. What is recommended to pick up small pieces of glass, and still provide protection?

Here are some options:

Nitrile gloves, durable and resistant to puncture. Not quite as flexible as

Latex surgical gloves, which are more prone to puncture than nitrile gloves.

Vinyl gloves are thin, but prone to puncture

Neoprene gloves are designed to replicate latex (some people are allergic to latex).

I'd try several and see which works best for you. We mostly use nitrile, which does come in different thicknesses.

I have tried about 2 dozen different gloves.

The nitrile are hard to get on and off, especially if the hand sweats inside (which they do). the box i have has 9mil gloves. What mil do you use, Brad?

Thanks for the info. So, I may just keep using these, because i can pick up small pieces, a huge benefit.

We mostly use 5 mil, which might be easier than 9 mil to get on and off, but they're still hard to remove, especially if you're sweating.

Vinyl gloves would be easier to remove, but they're not very durable.
