Custom grinder heads?

Is there such a thing as a custom grinder head (for Glastar type grinders) or is it (reasonably) possible to make your own?

I need one that grinds 45 deg angles on small pieces. Do bevelers have a mechanism to get a relatively true and specific angle?

Thanks,
Paul

You can get anything "custom" but is it worth it? Better to rig up a jig to feed the work into the head at the angle you need.

There are lots of diamond, shaped bits. Whether they will fit your grinder? But probably the jig is a better option.

Oh I get mine from Harbor freight, they're just cheap. I don't use them enough to realize the cost/benefit from better ones, yet...

Mika makes a 45º miter bit which will fit any of the common grinders.
http://www.sunshineglass.com has one.
