I'd like to know who's using the 110J. Successes, problems, with or without kilnwash?
How about fiberboard? I have a JenKen oval 9 and evil shelves and hate the limit of split shelf( My, isn't she picky?) I would surely welcome suggestions on proper use to make it last and work the best. I just boought a 24x36 piece

thanks, as usual

J110 rocks. sprinkle it with kiln wash and smooth out the sprinkle with your halk brush every firing. Pretty durable stuff, but the edges crumle a bit if handled to much. best to just leave it on the shelf and never mess with it.

Fiber board shelves are great, I use a 2 inch for a shelf. I loose some kiln hight, but I'm not doing high drop rings so that's ok. Pull out your old evil shelf if you get the urge to do that.
